Matteo has gained an in-depth legal expertise on all criminal law matters through the assistance of clients in a wide range of proceedings concerning tax and bankruptcy crimes, market abuses, wrongdoing against the public administration, environmental crimes and worker safety offenses.

He also deals with defamation on media and crimes against IP rights and has great experience on professional negligence, especially in medical malpractice, assisting several healthcare companies.

At the same time, he provides entrepreneurs and companies with non-litigation legal advisory on tax, finance, banking and environmental issues, as well as on corporate compliance and investigation activities.

He finally specialized in company administrative liability according to Legislative Decree n. 231/2001, advising several institutions for the adoption of organization models and holding permanent offices in Supervisory Bodies.

Matteo joined the Firm in 2019 and founded the criminal law department.
Previously, he was partner of the law firm Dinoia Federico Pelanda Uslenghi & Partners, where – following his academic education in commercial law – he had been practicing criminal law since 2003.
