Filippo was a member of the Superior Council of the Judiciary from 2018 to 2022, a board member of ENCJ – European Networks of Councils for the Judiciary from 2018 to 2020, and the president of the same network from 2020 to 2022.

His practice is focused in the fields of administrative law, European Union law and public law of economics, providing advice and legal assistance to public and private entities in many areas, including telecommunications, energy and other regulated sectors, procurements and real estate development.

Filippo has gained significant experience in administrative law, European Union law, and public law of economics, advising and providing legal assistance to public and private entities in many areas, including telecommunications, energy and other regulated sectors, procurements and real estate development.

He is editor-in-chief of the “Rivista della regolazione dei mercati” (Journal of Market Regulation) and a member of the editorial board of “Italian Journal of Italian Law”, “Il diritto dell’Unione Europea” (The Law of the European Union) and of “Osservatorio sulle fonti” (Observatory on Sources), and a member of the scientific committee of the journal “MediaLaws”.

He is the author of three monographs as well as editor of 12 volumes and more than 150 academic papers on the topics of public law and the European Union.
