Adele has extensive experience in Italian and European competition law, particularly in the areas of abuse of dominant position, cartels, mergers, distribution agreements, online sales, cooperation agreements and joint ventures. She regularly represents Italian and foreign companies before the Italian Competition Authority and the European Commission. She assists clients in antitrust litigation before national, administrative and civil courts (in particular in the context of antitrust damages actions) and European Union Courts. She also a strong expertise in the design and implementation of tailor-made antitrust compliance programmes for companies active in a wide range of industries. Adele assists companies active in the telecommunications and postal services sectors before the Communications Regulator (AGCom) and has also dealt with issues related to other areas of EU law, such as free movement of goods and services, procurement, and liberalized sectors.

Her experience covers a variety of industries, including telecommunications, banking and insurance services, postal services, financial and mobility services, luxury goods, food, air transport and airport services, chemicals, publishing, catering (including motorway and airport services) and large-scale retail.

Adele joined the Firm in September 2023.

Previously, she worked with leading Italian law firms (namely, Pappalardo e Associati, then Bonelli Erede Pappalardo, at the Brussels and Rome offices from 1997 to 2007 – with a break, for the Master’s degree, between 1998 and 1999 – and Chiomenti Studio Legale from 2008 to 2014 at the Brussels office).

In 2015, she founded, together with Monica Dal Prà, Flora Santaniello and Gabriella Scionti, ECR Legal, a firm specializing in EU law, competition law and market regulation.
