Alessia mainly deals with out-of-court assistance with reference to business contracts, IT law and personal data protection. With reference to these areas, she assists national and international clients in the negotiation and drafting of contracts and in the implementation of privacy compliance documentation. She has also acquired experience, mainly, in out-of-court assistance in intellectual and industrial property matters.
Alessia joined the Law Firm in 2018, gradually majoring in IP, IT and privacy Law (Intellectual Property, Information Technology & privacy) and assisting important clients operating in the digital and innovation sector. In 2019, she gained the IAPP certification as Certified International Privacy Professional in Europe (CIPP/E).
Previously, she had collaborated with the commercial law department of a well-known Milan-based boutique firm, mainly dealing with licensing contracts, technology transfer, publishing contracts, general terms and conditions and international agreements. In this context, she also collaborated with the Academic Foundation Ludes and Ludes Lugano Campus, dealing with the drafting of some international agreements and, was involved in the management and coordination of various international projects (particularly regarding China and the United Arab Emirates).
Before graduating, Alessia had done an internship at the Beijing office of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CICC) and then collaborated with the Sino-European project “IP Key – Intellectual Property. A Key to Sustainable Development” in the drafting of a paper for the European Commission on the protection of Geographical Indications in China.
